We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in our North Bergen, NJ office. This person will be responsible for providing administrative support to Construction and Store Facility Departments.

Essential Functions: (The reason this job exists is to perform these functions. These functions are performed regularly, seriously impacts other jobs, and there are a limited number of employees whom performance of the function can be distributed).

  1. Process all invoices for Store Construction and Facility departments.
  2. Prepare and update all group-spread sheets on a weekly basis and distribute to appropriate departments.
  3. Receive and screen visitors and telephone calls and either notifies staff members or records and relays messages.
  4. Organize and maintain all files including drawing files.
  5. Provide support to the Store Maintenance group as needed in processing PO’s and invoices.

Other Functions: (Incidental to the purpose or the job. These functions are performed infrequently, and have little consequences to other jobs if not performed).

  1. Performs clerical duties as required.
  2. Performs special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience 
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. 
  • Two to three years of secretarial experience 
  • Proficient Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • Good interpersonal and public relations skills
  • Well organized
  • Able to work well independently
